Japan's Oita Prefectural Museum of Art (OPAM) commissioned renowned Dutch Designer Marcel Wanders to create an exhibit paying homage to the cultural relationship between Japan and the Netherlands, which dates back to 1600, when the Dutch Ship, the "Liefde" ran aground in Usuki. Mr. Wanders created a group of stunning five-meter tall balloons depicting "painterly masks" that symbolize the "enduring cultural exchange between Holland and Japan." Titled the "Eurasian Garden," Mr. Wanders said, "Moving effortlessly like breath, this installation proclaims the possibility for the acceptance of thoughts and ideas that originate from distance shores.”
Tracks from two talented AudioSparx composers were licensed for this short film.
--Opening this extraordinary video, the serene, soothing, and rhythmic beat of Alastair Cameron’s “Minimalism in 5” has a fresh sound throughout. Even as it adds new instrumentation, it never loses its beautifully artistic and abstract foundation: Minimalism in 5
--Passionate and sophisticated, KLZ’s “Minimal Subliminal” lives up to its name as it kicks in at the 2:22 mark. This stirring modern and surreal style is reminiscent of the works of Phillip Glass: Minimal Subliminal
