Sit With `em

Feelings grow deep in me
Odd blooms, strange seeds
Ranging `tween deranged and serene 

Happiness, sorrow too
So high, so blue
These days I choose to let `em all flow through
and I just sit with `em 

Mother Teresa’s my sister
Sometimes I feel her love
My brother is Adolph Hitler
I feel his rage and I wanna get numb 

All these feelings churn inside
Like storm clouds boilin’ low in the sky
But now and then to my delight
There’s a rainbow in my eyes 

On and on through the years
Deep joy, hot tears
These feelings fade then they reappear
and I just sit with `em
