Age Of Reason

Look around, what do you believe in?  
Is it what you thought it would be?
So little time, so many places 
Wouldn’t it be nice to see?
Like in war there will be religion 
To destroy what’s meant to be
Through time life holds no emotions 
It’s your heart that holds the key

In this life there’s never an answer
To this world’s mysteries
Could it be that there’s a higher power? 
Who controls our destiny?
With love and war, hate will always follow 
Usually through jealousy
Everyone seems to have an answer 
For what they hope and believe

You have to take a chance and never turn back
We’re all made the same, but we’re never the same
We’re never the same, mmmmm theirs people insane
  
 Everywhere I go there is no honesty
The strong will always be the ones who will succeed
There’s the people who will die for their beliefs
And there’s the greedy types who relish in their dreams
You can understand why the world is
The crazy place that we survive until the end
Do we really have this one time on earth?
Do we get our second chance for us to live again?
