Here was the story of Jimmy Lea there was the legend of Sally C 
There was a burning inside of me of a tale I need to free 
He was a boy born middle class nothing good or strange about that 
Not the son of a diplomat not a name on a baseball bat 
Sha-la-la-la-la-la-la I was blown into another mans sky...high...high 

Now I don`t claim to know everything “ain`t been to no university” 
But I can tell when something stinks of cover up and hypocrisy 
He took to class as many do not a star just one of the crew 
Sometimes he`d work so hard at school sometimes he`d play the fool 
Then one summer it all changed a normal life yeah rearranged 
Some guy full of insecurity started kicking little Jimmy Lea 
Well he couldn`t eat he couldn`t sleep his parents said his thoughts were deep 
Inside he was falling apart, inside he`d lost his heart 
He sang sha-la-la-la-la-la-la 
I was blown into another mans sky....high....high 
Blown into another mans...........Blown into another mans 
Blown into another mans sky 

Now any comment he received another knock so he perceived 
It was either sink or swim it was either me or him 
Took a walk out to the Mall shopping bag and cousin Sal 
Bought a second hand 45 enough bullets to kill the hive 
Enough explosives to start the war available from your local store 
Enough resentment to light the fuse He`ll show them all who was born to lose 
Sing sha-la-la-la-la-la-la I was blown into another mans sky....high....high 

Came into school the rest is history won`t glorify mass lobotomy
It made the news it made us cry it made us ask the question why? 
The papers answered they loved the gun dreamed of killing just for fun 
The T.V said it was the music too that leased them from the zoo 
Well there`s more to this than meets the eye there was the bully free to try 
There was the glory of a hired gun sold to a nation as celluloid fun 
There was the merchant rich in cash free from the law free from the lash 
But lets blame it on two lost souls and there love of some Rock`n`Roll 
Sha-la-la-la-la-la-la I was blown into another mans sky....high....high 

Now I could never come to agree with that solution of Jimmy Lea 
But I have to stop and realize there`s so much more than meets the eyes 
And that circus runs very deep and if you really want a peaceful sleep 
Before you shove that kids face in the dirt just stop and think who might get hurt
