Trio Caliente is comprised of longtime Washington musicians Deborah Benner (vocals), Michael Bard (guitar, keyboard, percussion) and Amilcar Cruz (guitar). Together, the trio produces music that seamlessly fuses together elements of Bossa Nova, Gypsy Rumba and Contemporary Flamenco with soothing Jazz vocals and musical arrangements. Centered around the collaboration of Michael's precision instrumentals and Deborah's smoky vocals, Trio Caliente delivers a sophisticated collection of songs that both energize and soothe as soon as the first notes fill a room.
