A collaboration between artists in the US and Australia, The Valery Trails craft atmospheric guitar-based Indie Rock music. Their debut album, Ghosts and Gravity, was described as "marvelously moody and melancholy... an intoxicating cocktail of sheer aural pleasure" (Joe Wawrzyniak, Jersey Beat). In addition to widespread radio airplay in the US, UK, Canada, and Australia, The Valery Trails have also been heard on Roadtrip Nation (PBS) and Dew Tour extreme sport online videos. They are currently working on their second full-length album.
Dreamy vocals glide over an insistent rhythm, swirling guitars and a driving bass line, punctuated by a mysterious keyboard hook. Brings to mind movement and wistful nostalgia, good for traveling montages or opening or closing scenes. Male Vocals, Rock, Modern Rock
Straight-ahead rocker with a fuzz-guitar hook that sounds a bit like a horn section. Strong backbeat throughout, then winds up to a hard-driving ending. Reflective but upbeat lyrics tell a story of a homecoming after many years. Use in dramatic or comedic homecoming scenes or travel documentaries. Male Vocals, Rock, 60s Rock
Ringing bell-like guitar layered over thumping tom-toms and pulsing bass line. Contemplative lyrics about loss and sadness alternate with plaintive e-bow lines. Would work for “in memoriam” scenes and dramatic scenes of loss and despair. Male Vocals, Gothic, Dark Wave
Jangly, dreamy almost trance-y. Finishes with searing but smooth electric guitar lead break. Serene vocals, with oohs, ahs and harmonies. Would work for "boy meets girl" and "boy loses girl" scenes, or reminiscing about a lost love. Mixed Vocals, Indie Rock, Britpop
