C.J. Masters has been performing, recording, producing, & composing music professionally for the past 25 years. As a graduate of the Berklee College of Music (BA Film Scoring) and the Manhattan School of Music (MA Jazz Composition)
C.J. has performing, production, and writing credits on over two dozen CDs, numerous Cable & Network Television Stations, (Local, National, and International) and Industrial, Children's & Commercial Films / Videos. As a music composer, he has composed for the Captain Kangaroo show (CBS TV NYC), Sound Workshop Productions NYC,
Seoul, Korea, PBS TV, ShowTime Cable Network, TBS Cable Network, and United Airlines.
He has played guitar & pedal steel guitar for the Hagar Brothers (TV's Hee Haw), John Anderson, Big Al Downey, Bruce Henderson, Cliff Eberhardt, Meg Griffin & Train Wreck, The Concrete Canyon Cow persons, Terrance Martin, Julian Dawson, Mary Lee's Corvette. He has also played guitar & pedal guitar as well as being an integral participant in Ted Swindley's production & development of "Always...Patsy Cline" & "The Honky Tonk Angels". Mr. Masters currently resides in Asheville, NC and he continues to write and perform locally and nationally.
