David Wilsoni
David Wilsoni is a composer and musician based in Edinburgh. He has written the music for over 14 films in various genres, icluding Orchestral, Rock, Pop, and Blues. One recent film he worked on received two BAFTA nominations in the Best Newcomer category. Following studies in Music and Audio Technology, he gained a National Certificate and Higher National Diploma, and a BA Honours degree in Music. David also completed a course on scoring through the Pacific Northwest Film Scoring program, where he studied with Hollywood Film Composer, Hummie Mann.
David Wilsoni has worked on numerous projects that have became quite successful. One recent feature film he worked on, "The Dead Outside," was greatly received and shown in over 15 film festivals worldwide, broadcast on Film Four and is now available to buy around the world. A couple of short films he has done were shown at the Edinburgh International Film Festival, which included "The Elemental," a psychological horror short from Director and founder of Tartan TV, Robert Sproul-Cran. He has recently finished work on a short film for Channel 4.
