Rather than taking the already well-beaten path of emulating one's influences, New York band Gracer has set out to create an identifiable Indie Rock sound all their own. With its Emo and Ambient elements, their debut album “Voices Travel” (Revelation Records) features songs that range from atmospheric and melancholy to powerful and heartfelt. Gracer can be seen on the new IFC series “The Rawside of…,” where their hour-long finale episode will be featured alongside artists such as Brendan Canning of Broken Social Scene, Born Ruffians, and Metric.
