Greek Composer Ioannis Roussos began playing Greek music in 1999. At age 16, he became greatly influenced by symphonic orchestra music. At 18, he composed his first song in this style and still composes his music that way. Ioannis today counts 8 orchestral concerts played with a Greek traditional music band, and with metal bands as well. In Greece, he has twice won first place in music competitions, and has been featured on two major TV channels. Ioannis's instruments for his epic, cinematic compositions include the piano, violin, cello, flute and many others.

Ioannis Roussos is professionally composing symphonic-orchestral music for movies, movie trailers, documentaries, and so forth. While he considers Hans Zimmer as one of his main influences, Ioannis has his own unique style, expressing perfectly and clearly the meaning of each of his compositions -- always creating pictures that will send your imagination on a magical, cinematic journey.
