Nashville Composer Jackson Woods studied music at Belmont University and The University of Alabama. He is a founding member of the touring band Swamp Wompus, whose Experimental sound reaches across genres, with influences of Soul, Hip Hop, Rock, Reggae, Jazz, Jam, Electronic, and Funk Rock. Whether it's retro synths and drum machines, or grand pianos and funky guitar patterns, Jackson’s music weaves together a sonic tapestry of textures, and his southern background leaves every beat drenched in syncopation.
