Kristofer Axén is a singer-songwriter of Alternative Rock. By creating Melodic Pop inside unconventional song structures, Axén's influences travel from The Beatles through Genesis and Tom Waits, investigating lyrical themes far beyond the heartbreak formula. His debut Strange Light Music (2014) was followed by 2016's The Creek And the Carving. Nordic Music Review called The Creek And the Carving "an interesting, thoughtful and well-written album which has a lovely attention to detail and continues to grow on me the more I give it a chance."
