From 1998 - 2002 Matthew studied privately under Pat Martino with a concentration in jazz theory. He also studied under Alex Domschot with a concentration in jazz theory, transcribing, reading and composing in Philadelphia and Atlantic City.

Matthew has played guitar and composed arrangements for a wide array of musical genres including jazz, rock, hip-hop, funk, blues, and country in venues throughout New Jersey, Philadelphia and New York City.

He has numerous musical credits to his name. He writes, composes, and plays original music in various venues in NYC. He

worked with Boy George and Kevan Frost also known as Jamiroquai. He preformed with Midnight Sun at the Continental NYC. He played guitar for the Dave Miller band at the Pontiac Grille in Philadelphia, PA and various other venues.
