The first innovative rapper known from the streets, Melle Mel has contributed his lyrical styles for generations for over 30 years to learn. He has collaborated in two Grammy Award nominees, with Quincy Jones and Chaka Khan.
Melle Mel has been featured in numerous movie presentations such as Beat Street, Police Academy, and the Miami Vice TV series. In the years between 1980 to 1990 Melle Mel has had over 35 smash singles. He created a niche for himself as well as others in the Hip-Hop
