Ross Milligan
UK Composer and musician Ross Milligan studied at the The Guildhall School of Music in London, and has played with the Tricky, The BBC Symphony Orchestra, The Pasadena Roof Orchestra, Van Morrison, George Martin, and Buddy Greco, to name a few. In addition to creating lively Rock, Jazz, Electronica and Folk music, his Classical tracks add a mix of sparkling piano and poignant melodies. Musician Magazine praises Ross Milligan with these words "Instrumental tracks of reflective mood, deftly produced, subtle in tone and texture, and paced cleverly to maintain intrigue and interest."
Ross Milligan, now based in Scotland, has been featured on BBC, ITV, and German TV. He has played often with the RSNO, and performed as a guitarist on the West End and in touring shows. Ross has also performed or recorded with many iconic music personalities during his illustrious career, including the Tony Monaco Trio, The BBC Scottish Symphony, Barbara Morrison, Horse, Jeb Loy Nichols, Pee Wee Ellis, Emily Smith, The London Bach Choir, The Scottish Guitar Quartet, The National Youth Jazz Orchestra, and others. His first album, released in 2006, is entitled “Passing Places.” One of our favorite songs is his quirky and playful track entitled "The Music Box Orchestra." Recent clients include Blueant, Gucci, Samsung, Ancestry, and a feature in the short film "Guerra de la paz."
