Born in South Wales to a musical family, UK Composer Simeon Benavente played clarinet and piano at an early age, and was a principal clarinetist with the National Youth Wind Orchestra of Great Britain. He studied at the Welsh College of Music and Drama and Westminster Abbey Choir School, and the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama. Simeon worked with BBC Philharmonic Conductor James McMillan as well as two-time "Ivor Novello" Composer Joseph Horowitz. His genres include Classical and Rock, and he recently scored 'The House' starring Eunice Huthart (Lara Croft: Tomb Raider).
Simeon Benavente has composed music for many productions, including film and radio. His latest film scoring project was for The House, which starred the stunning Eunice Huthart (stunt double in the James Bond film GoldenEye 007, an Uma Thurman film, and for Angelina Jolie in Lara Croft: Tomb Raider, and most recently in Salt).
