Tex Glitter
Hailing from Sweden, Tex Glitter has been composing their eclectic music since 1986. Ronny Doll's unique vocal style combined with Nish Cash's country guitar riffs, Chihuahua Steve's on-point percussion, and Buffalo Bengt's atmospheric keyboard work, Tex Glitter creates another world for country music. They've performed with famous Swedish comedians, Stefan & Krister, and Swedish poet, Elsa Grave. The band has also toured in Denmark, amassing more fans for their unique sound.
Tex Glitter recorded their first album in '86 on lead singer Ronny Doll's wedding day. They describe their lyrics as "coming from the dark corners of our souls and hearts as well as from out experience of love and broken relationships."
The band states, "We muscially love the steady beat of country and try to reach the simplicity that's so hard to get." Tex Glitter is influenced and inspired by musicians such as Hank Williams, Johnny Cash, Emmylou Harris, and many others. Tex Glitter looks forward to continuing their unique music composition in the studio.
