TinGods is the duo of vocalist/songwriter/producer/engineer Gordon Davies, and guitarist/songwriter Steve Messina. A unique sound that is extremely difficult to pigeonhole. Textured and ethereal, yet potent and fiery, the group blends electric and acoustic guitars; frequently with alternate tunings and chord voicing, with soaring vocals that whisper one moment then wail the next.
Davies and Messina are joined by an incredible supporting cast of musicians, including Jason Crosby on Violin/keyboards (Blues Traveler, Susan Tedeschi, God Street Wine, Derek Trucks Band),
drummer Frank Bellucci (Renowned clinician, DW & Sabian endorsee), cellist Dave Eggar (The Who and Modern English, founding member of Flux) and Steve B on bass (Sozzi, Vibralush). Collectively they form a sound that combines the power and muscle of Live and STP, with the subliminal intelligence of Peter Gabriel, Pink Floyd and The Grateful Dead.
