Jono Booth is a born-and-bred South African musician. He has been playing in local bands since the age of 15. His love of African Drums and African Rhythms led him to develop a unique blend of traditional African music with modern and contemporary styles. Jono easily masters the art of drumming in his magnificent, mesmerizing "The Magic of the African Battle Drum" -- perfect for driving home edgy film and TV shows like CSI, 24, Globe Trekker and Survivor, or extreme sports, marathons, and other projects where endurance is the high point of the production.
Coming to us from second largest city of the province of KwaZulu-Natal in South Africa, the heart of the Zulu Nation, Jono Booth's non-minimalistic approach to his stylistic music and drumming demonstrates how the modern world can beneficially affect the people living in Africa.
