With an impressive release background, she has co-written, worked, and recorded with artists such as John Payne (Asia ft. JP), Michael Sadler (Saga), Ryo Okumotu (Kitaro, Spock's Beard), Oliver Wakeman (Yes), and others. Lisa is a member of the Federally-recognized United Keetoowah Band of Cherokee Indians in Oklahoma. Lisa LaRue has released 8 albums, and Ytsejam declared that she "is one of Prog Rock's best kept secrets." She is a 2 time Native American Music nominee, 1 time nominee of the Hollywood Music Awards "Best Instrumental Song," 1 time Los Angeles Music Awards nominee for "Best Instrumental Artist," and a 3 year "Native American Artist of the Year" for the Oklahoma Music Awards.
