ARC Music has traveled the globe recording authentic World and Ethnic music. Their 600 tracks include Kantele music from Finland, music of the North American Indians, Didgeridoo music from Australia, Punjabi Pop or Bhangra from India, Chinese Dulcimer, Japanese Koto, Middle Eastern percussion, and much more. ARC Music is used worldwide by producers of TV and film dramatizations. Recent placements include the blockbuster movie "Open Water," the "40 Year Old Virgin," and the highly acclaimed film "The Constant Gardener."
HISTORY ARC Music's label recently celebrated its 30th anniversary, an occasion certainly worthy of looking back and summarising achievements made throughout that time. Like many great stories this one started with an idea, with the enthusiasm and with the work (and lots of it) of one man - Horst Tubbesing. Horst recognised the difficulty many talented artists faced in trying to get recording contracts; so starting out in Germany, originally with a few vinyl recordings to suit the needs of touring artists from Bolivia, he founded the label 'Eulenspiegel' (this is where the EU of our album product numbers comes from and their logo of the winking owl with a mirror).
