Coco O'Connor
A multi-instrumentalist, CoCo plays the cello, the drums and is an accomplished drum and loop programmer, but what really makes her stand out is her distinctive, sometimes airy-- sometimes vulnerable, consistently strong and sweet vocal. Her song "Higher Power" was selected for the CD Compilation, Hope: Love is the Answer, produced by Grammy Award winning Producer Steve Zuckerman. Her full length CD , TRANSPARENT was produced by David Cragin ( Danny Elfman,Beck) . The album has received enormous support from NOVA (National Organization for Victim Assistance). As a former crime victim herself, she welcomes the opportunity to turn injustice into justice thru music.She currently continues to promote her CD via local and national appearences on radio, podcasts, and television. When she isn't promoting the CD ; she continues to focus on the craft of songwriting as well as composing instrumental / electronic soundscapes with her pianist/husband, Taylor O'Connor and David Cragin.
