UK musician Steve Urwin has an ability to capture the visual within the music, and has a sensitive and contemporary approach to new projects. His 2005 "Hidden" CD was an opening to writing using new sounds and rhythms from around the globe. While his heart is still in the jazz scene of latter years, he loves the challenge of the music of the new state and has the ability to think outside the box for his new compositions. Steve writes for the visual media and enjoys composing just the right sounds that will make our clients' music productions come alive.
While Steve Urwin’s main compositions are Instrumental, he sees limitless possibilities of fusing various moods with specific grooves to create a more dynamic impact of sound. For a number of years Steve has honed his skills through involvement in many aspects of the music industry, including recording, freelancing, and performing live music. His genres are varied, and include jazz themes, techno, classical, and almost everything in between. Steve loves to experiment, and his library here includes both new compositions and songs from the early 1990s.
mechanical and repetitive without sounding boring. Has an animated vibe that injects interest without swerving away for the consistency of the mood. Fabulous for a timing slot in a game show competition or sports events. Excellent well finished track that has clear quality sounds that enhance. Instrumental, News, News Investigative
Brilliant theme intro for crime/drama series, builds fast with very punchy stabs. Vibrant and upward. Has a 1960s feel about it. Strong finish that has a resolution. The mood is instant, great for breaking news intro. Instrumental, News, News Openings
