Robert Brannan is an American composer whose musical catalog represents a very broad spectrum of styles and moods. His work has been licensed for commercials, documentary films, feature films, and game projects for the Florida Interactive Entertainment Academy. As a performer, Robert has played and recorded the guitar and oud in a variety of musical contexts. His impressive array of genres includes Classical, Electronic, Ambient, Dramatic, Horror, and various guitar-oriented themes.
Robert Brannan began playing the guitar at the age of fourteen (in 1992) and has studied music extensively since then, both independently and as a music student at the Florida State University. Over the years, he has immersed himself in the study of classical music theory, harmony and improvistation, and jazz theory. Robert is particularly fond of, and influenced by, the music of J. S. Bach, Richard Wagner, Nikita Koshkin, Django Reinhardt, Isaac Albeniz, and Pink Floyd.
