David L. George Jazz Trumpet, Drums, Composer/Arranger & Educator David began the study of trumpet in 1965 under the instruction of Les Beigle, noted Seattle trumpeter. David received his Bachelor of Music degree with honors from Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle in 1980. Instructors included Gary Peacock, Jim Knapp, Butch Nordal, Art Lande, and Julian Priester. For the next three years, he performed as a trumpet soloist on the cruise ship S.S. Independence, Honolulu, Hawaii. He was also trumpeter and composer with Bob Braye‘s “Peace & Rhythm”.
