A born-and-raised native of Flint, Michigan (the murder capitol of the world), Hardword Classick began his career at the age of 12 but didn't start recording until the age of 16. This gave him time to mature in mind, body and soul. With the young hunger growing inside of him, he quickly decided to burst out of the shell of misguidance and bad judgement of past mentors.
AT THE AGE OF 16 HARDWOOD CLASSICK ALSO SUFFERED A GUNSHOT WOUND IN AND OUT OF HIS LEFT SHOULDER LEAVING HIM ALMOST 3INCHES FROM HIS ARM COMPLETELY BLOWN OFF...THE SHOOTER WAS SAID TO HAVE CARRIED A 30-30 DEER RIFLE ,AND WAS NEVER FOUND!!MYSTERY SURROUNDS THE AREA OF THE HOOD AS QUESTIONS STILL LINGER ABOUT WHO DONE IT AND WHY!BUT WE WILL NEVER KNOW.BUT ONE PERSON KNOWS THE TRUTH.AS THINGS STARTED TO HEAT UP IN HARDWOOD CLASSICK'S WORLD THINGS JUST DIDNT MAKE SINCE TO HIM SO IT WAS A TIME FOR CHANGE OF AREA AND A NEW START.ONCE AGAIN RECORDING IN LANSING ,MICHIGAN FOR 2YEARS THINGS GOT HOTT AGAIN FOR CLASSICK..SO ITS BEEN A ROUGH ROAD FOR HIM BUT HE IS A VETERAN NOW IN THE GAME AND KNOWS HOW TO TAKE SHOTS THAT ARE THROWN AT HIM.WHICH WILL ONLY GET WORSE BY THE HATERS THAT HATE..HARDWOOD HAS 2 KIDS THAT ARE THE FUEL THAT STARTS AND KEEPS HIS ENGINE RUNNING!ALL THE OTHER LABELS KNOWN WHAT HARDWOOD BRINGS TO THE TABLE AND DIDNT WANT TO BRING A FAIR OFFER ABROAD..WELL WE WILL HAVE TO WAIT TO SEE AND HEAR MORE MUSIC FROM HARDWOOD CLASSICK BUT I THINK HE IS TRULY ONE OF THE BEST IF NOT THE BEST ARTIST IN THE MIDWEST
