Paint Chips is the brainchild of UK composer Georgina St George, a classically trained pianist whose orchestral cues match her palette of brilliant and colorful moods. In high demand, her clients include CBS, NBC, ABC, MTV, Discovery and History Channels, and a promo for “The Mentalist.” Often enchanting and quirky, Paint Chips' music was selected by Disney’s Precious Collections, Little Brown Books’ “School of Fear” trailer, and plays on TV, Radio Commercials, Game Shows, Romantic Comedies, and numerous Corporate Branding Campaigns.
The idea behind Paint Chips is inspired by synaesthesia, a phenomenon involving hearing color rather than seeing it. So have fun imagining what the music might sound like before you listen! Happy, bright colors inspire uplifting, light-hearted tracks such as Squeaky Yellow Techno Baby, Red Double Decker Bus, and Busy Yellow Taxi -- great for kids’ projects. Purple often sounds mysterious, like Quirky Purple Pogo Stick and Dangerous Purple Dahlia, and reds can sound exotic and romantic. Also check out Red Stallion Tango and Marrakesh Poppy Red. There are several magical tracks here, too, like Crystal Ball White and Black Fairy Dust.
Take a ride through London on a 1960's double-decker bus. Feel the grooviness, smell the joss sticks and spot the mini skirts worn with knee-high white boots. This fun track will take you back and make you smile. Rhodes organ, rock drums, (with just a hint of contemporary urban beats!), Instrumental, Rock, 60s Rock
