Edron V. Lindsey, better known to those who have seen him perform as E.V.L., was born and raised by a single mother in Norfolk Virginia on the 19th of August in 1974. At the early age of 15 he discovered his love and talent for writing and got his first taste of being on stage when he joined a group based out of Virginia Beach called "Lethal Rymers". He met producer and member Teddy Riley of "Blackstreet" and danced in the video of the top ten hit "Rump Shaker" when he was 16.Needing a direction in life Edron decided to join the Army and laid down his pen for a few years.
