Gentry Bronson is known internationally for his cinematic music, heart-on-your-sleeve songwriting, and passionate performances. His discography boasts over 100 songs, and he has entertained audiences throughout the US, Mexico, and Europe, where he completed his 7th successful tour in 2014. Gentry has written and released music in a plethora of genres, including Alternative, Ambient, Relaxation, New Classical, Indie, Rock, Roots, New Age, Punk, Americana, Cabaret, Jazz, Blues, Experimental, Meditation, Spa, and Baby Relaxation.
Gentry Bronson has released 11 records, including 4 full length solo albums and 2 solo EPs, 2 full length albums and 1 EP with his former band the Night Watchmen, a full length instrumental duet album with Dave Hoover, and an English adaptation of the Dutch classic Avond performed with Jesse Brewster. Hip Hop artist John Brown featured Gentry on the single No Games, and he’s played, sung, or written for many other artists’ recordings.
Gentry’s latest release is HUMAN, a 15-song concept record about connection and disconnection in the 21st century. Recorded in Northern California with all “real” performances, no autotune, no drum machines or synthesizers, it contains the single Hey Beautiful (featuring Emily Rath). His song "Santa Fe Sky" was placed in the indie feature film Roxie, which won the Best Feature award at the Bushwick Film Festival in Brooklyn, New York and debuted at the Sonoma International Film Festival.
Gentry won early praise as a classical pianist, winning 5 MMTA awards. He has also won three Northern California Songwriters' Association awards.
