Roger and Ellen Bruno write everything from Dramatic orchestral compositions to boppy Jazz pieces, exciting World tracks, moody Ambient cues, and Classical works. Working with indie filmmakers, storytellers, dancers, and meditation teachers, their music has been featured in numerous productions, including the new film "Fairhaven" starring Chris Messina of "Julie and Julia" fame. They've also placed a song in the latest film from the Farley Brothers, "Hollywood and Wine," starring David Spade, Chris Kattan, Pamela Anderson, Horatio Sanz, and Chazz Palminteri.
Roger and Ellen Bruno have written original scores for independent writers/directors/producers Felipe Soares, Brendan Nagle, and Kat Alix-Gadreau. They've also created background music for award-winning storyteller, Karen Glass, music for choreographer/dancer Abby Bender, and background music for meditation teacher Helen Rainoff's "Getting Centered Guided Meditation" CD.
Happy-go-lucky maybe a little goofy feel good piece with two guitars percussion and a surprise whistle. Strolling through the woods on a sunny day with not a care in the world. Good for a commercial portraying childlike innocence. Instrumental, Folk, Finger-Picked Guitar
Lovely old world European waltz on accordion, expanding instruments as it progresses building to a beautiful bridge. Perfect for a scene like Michael Corleone hiking up the mountain right before he meets Apollonia or Connie's wedding reception. Or France on the Seine. Romantic and charming. Instrumental, Folk, European Folk
A fond farewell on guitar and accordion. Perhaps with regret or sadness. Bittersweet with some longing. A summing up at the end of a sweet movie with an air of finality. Off to war. Or back from the war. Instrumental, Folk, Finger-Picked Guitar
Western cowboy song with 2 guitars, bass, drums and accordion. Sittin' by the fire out on the prairie or up in the mountains of the Adirondacks or on the trail at the end of the day. Country waltz. Instrumental, Folk, Traditional Folk
Simple peaceful acoustic guitars in counterpoint with poignant harmonica. Gently beautiful. Good for Civil War time period. Or nature pieces. Could also work for modern day western or mid western love story. Instrumental, Folk, Finger-Picked Guitar
