Currently based in California, Orin Neil Canterbury grew up in Guyana, South America where he first started playing guitar and keyboards in local bands. He migrated to New York City in 1969 and continued music in an RnB band called Touch (Brunswick Record Label) and he also played keyboards for the Afro Cuban Band (Arista Records) in 1979. In 1981, Orin recorded the song You're Too Late (Pavillion Records) which went to #1 on the Billboard Dance Charts. He also co-wrote and arranged and co-produced Lou Kirton's RnB hit Talk To Me.
