Hutsul Collection (Folk Tracks)

This authentic collection represents the musical side of Hutsuls, an ancient people from the Carpathian Mountains. Their unique music celebrates weddings, funerals, Christmas, Easter, and other religious Christian and Pagan holidays. The songs in the collection are performed by the real Hutsuls who actually live there present day and preserve the old traditions in music, clothing, the overall way of life. The songs are performed on tsymbaly (dulcimer), trembita, folk fiddle, and various native Ukrainian flutes and percussion instruments.
