Mike Kohler (Hip Hop Tracks)

Mike Kohler is an Electronic music composer and producer based in New York. He has toured both the US and Europe performing on the same stage with artists ranging from Lou Reed to Johnny Cash. An interest in audio engineering led to work as a freelance recording and mix engineer in NY’s East Village beginning in the late 90's, as well as two full-length albums released by Codek Records. A love of kitschy sci-fi film music, 1960's instrumental Rock and Funk, and vintage electronic sounds serves as inspiration for the majority of Mike's work.
