Based in Austria, Alessandro Vicard is a composer and double bass player whose focus includes Contemporary Music, Improvised Music, and Ethnic styles like Balkan, Klezmer, and Tango. He has worked with many visual artists, composers, and performers, and he's written music for theater (Peter Greenaway's "Blue Planet") and film productions (Gernot Fischer-Kondratovich's "Povero Peccatore"). Alessandro has collaborated with Benat Achiary, Agostino DiScipio, Michael Fischer, Franz Hautzinger, Didi Kern, Cort Lippe, and many others.
