Like many tourists, our super-talented composer and pianist Nigel Bellis captured memories of his Budapest vacation with video shot on his phone. But unlike your average tourist, Nigel was so captivated by this enchanting city that he was moved to compose "Romantic Budapest," a beautiful, elegant, and evocative track for piano and strings. The result is this fabulous music video!
Surrounding the Danube River, Hungary's capital, Budapest, is steeped in history with stunning architecture including St. Stephen's Basilica, Fisherman's Bastion, the Hungarian Parliament, and Heroes' Square. It is the 10th largest city in all of Europe, yet some areas feel like a quaint little village! Nigel's video takes us on a stroll through the city, and as we watch the tourists mill around you can almost smell the aroma of sinfully delicious Hungarian dishes, roasted meat, and mulled wine -- all in outdoor food fairs. And, of course, the video would not be complete without magnificent night views of the city.
Romance and passion, often with a Latin or Classical vibe, are at the very heart of Nigel's music. He won a coveted music scholarship studying Classical piano in the UK before embarking on a musical career that has been successfully intertwined with his work as a TV producer. Nigel has had hundreds of incidental and title themes broadcast around the world in a wide range of programs. Now, based in Los Angeles, he remains a prolific composer, fully orchestrating and recording tracks that are designed with movies and TV in mind.
