The family of fungi known as anthracnose has been known to hum this somewhat spastic tune when they munch on an American Dogwood tree. The fungi are all swarming about, darting and dodging around looking for the juiciest morsel to nibble on. The action real builds when the tree fights back - it almost sounds like wailing guitars weaving in and out over a trance-like back beat in an odd meter (7/8 to be exact). Who knows what's making the piano and synth sounds, it's one of nature's great mysterys.
