At 7 in the morning, I open my eyes 
At 7 AM, it's time to rise 
I jump out of bed to greet the new day 
Get washed and dressed to be on my way 

At 8 the morning, I get ready to eat 
At 8 AM, I take a seat 
Love my mom's pancakes, always eat a few 
Before breakfast is through

There's 24 hours, 24 in a day 
Time to eat, sleep, work and play 

From 9 until 3, I read and write 
So much to learn, so much to recite 
Math and science, art and history 
Got to get it all in between 9 and 3 

From 4 until 6, I go out to play 
It might be my favorite time of the day 
I ride my bike with my friends 'til my dad calls my in 
The afternoon's over and the evening begins

At 6 in the evening, the kitchen smells great 
At 6 PM I fill up my plate

At the homework, that I've been assigned 
From 7 'til 8 it's quiet time

I wonder what the new day will bring
