i turn out the light and fall into bed surrender to my mind like i do every night need to break loose so i close my eyes
the jester in my head juggles scenes of you i feel your smile and i find your touch finally my tangled train of thought, starts to unwind
so i imagine my life if it were a book scribbled by the pen of an average fool each page a day of my world, where do you come in?
well chapter one is about my youth chapter two is about the truth next is a tribute to my friends then my complaints about the latest trends a couple empty pages here and there i turn to one, and i just stare
cause i thought, i thought, of a hundred ways, one hundred ways cause i thought, i thought, of a hundred ways, one hundred ways and if ninety-nine fail and just one of them works, ill still be pleased, oh ill be pleased one way is all i need, to discover how it feels when our lips get introduced and they dance together
jealous white paper staring me down begging me to write what's on my mind i take a deep breath, and my pen starts to fly
i start on page 82, and go on for 20 more dot my Is, cross my Ts, put a period here and there filled the book cover to cover, but i need to compose some more
as i turn back to page one, and paint us with words i will just start over, rewrite history from the beginning a book about you and me, now that's a script to read!
now chapter one is about your embrace chapter two is about a serious case next i reminisce, about our bliss oh i remember our fourth of july kiss no more empty pages anywhere i just smile, we're a sweet pair
when our lips get introduced and they dance together
