The Sparkly Stars!

I looked way up into the night,
Up at the sparkly stars,
I wondered what was out there,
Way out there, very far.

Are there other children,
Playing games, like baseball?
Are there other planets,
With seasons, like spring and fall?

	Wondering, wondering,
	Up at the nighttime sky,
	What is really out there,
	Up in the sky so high?

Are there little aliens,
With great, big shiny eyes,
Who build neat, fancy spaceships,
That fly our night-time skies?

Would they like to visit?
It would be nice to meet!
Would they like our winter’s snow,
Or summer’s steamy heat?

	(REFRAIN)

I guess I’ll never know,
What’s out there, way up high,
Unless I become an astronaut,
And in a spaceship fly.

I then could go exploring,
Among the sparkly stars,
And see who might be out there,
Way out there, very far!
