What a blissful month it has been, 
Placed myself right where I wish to be,
Comfortable with the world that is under my feet, 
The only thing missing is you and me. 

I’ve tried to forget you,
I swear I've tried so many times 
But the more I push you out,
The more I see the signs. 

Bright lights all around me,
Staring across the city 
Everything looks so pretty,
But Where are you now? 
Flying kites all around me,
White sands and a deep blue sea, 
Everything how it’s meant to be,
But Where are we now? 

Today I write this letter,
Which you will refuse to read 
But I’ll make sure it gets to you,
If it means I swim across the sea. 

I wish you would come back and lay here beside me, 
I need you to define me.
