I was weary in body and soul,
My life was dreary, my spirits low;
A hopeless sinner, without a friend
In this crazy world.

Then one night, I had the Strangest dream.
I heard sweet Jesus, calling my name,
Lay down your burdens, lift up your spirit
And walk with me. Talk with me

And now I’m walking, WALKING WITH MY JESUS. Walking real strong, walking back home. He put me on a new road, took away my heavy load. Now I’m walking on back, walking on back.  

Now I’m so thankful, each and every day.
That through a miracle my life was saved.
He is the power, He is the glory.
He is the way, the only way.
Cause I had a hole in the middle of my soul.
But the Lord filled it up with something better than gold.
He took away all my sins, showed me how to live again.
Now I’m walking Him, Talking with Him.

He’ll lift you up when this life ends.

He’ll take you back, back home with him 
Back to the garden, where we all began.

And we’ll go walking through them pearly gates
Into a city, where Jesus waits, and live forever with our sweet savior say amen, say amen
