I pass you on the street but my eyes wouldn’t dare
How could I stop and stare away all the hours
That I dreamt of touching you fallen hair
And feeling you like the heat of the desert sun
Until the moon would come and shun away
All the clouds that grasped the sight of you
No one ever knew what it is you gave me

When I couldn’t speak to you
Each poet speaks of life and of love
That flows like the ebb and tide from above
That controls our lives and causes us 
To do all the things we can’t conceive of doing but yet
When all else fails we search and try to find a way
To let our hearts speak for them self’s
