This was the last tune Richard Freitas recorded before his untimely death in 2012. Richard played it from his studio and Paul, his brother, played it from his studio. Paul played piano on the earliest version but always knew that Rich would really kick it up and get the energy to where it needed to be. He sure did - we've always loved what he did on this tune! Richard sent Paul his version of the piano part just two days before he died; it was the last thing Richard ever recorded. Paul always thought that that was a fitting exit... to go out swinging hard. Paul says Richard always knew what to play and what not to play!
