Lost Along the Way
V-1 	Montana Highway
Quicksilver fall day
I’m such a long way from home

She came to see me
Checked out the scenery
Then flew back east on her own

CH-1	Don’t ask me why, cause I can’t say
She chose to leave and I chose to stay
And some loves get lost along the way.

V-2	Montana Valley
If you will have me
I’ll serve your beef steak and beer

Eke out a living
Land unforgiving
No friends and family here.

CH-2	Don’t ask me why cause I don’t know.
She wouldn’t stay and I wouldn’t go
And some love’s aren’t strong enough to hold.

Bridge	Madison River flowing by
I’m watching you shine
With simple forward motion
We’re bound to leave the past behind.

V-3	Montana highway
Quicksilver Fall Day.
Will I find happiness here?

Or just keep roaming
South to Wyoming
I guess I’ll give it a year.

Some stay near home
Some drift away
