Chain of Chaos is an indie American fusion rock band from Seattle, Washington, formed in 2008 by artist/electronic musician Michael P. Lanka. Their music is entirely instrumental and has flavors of punk, funk, psychedelic, progressive rock, acid, and hard rock. Influences include Pink Floyd, Herbie Hancock, Chick Corea, Sting, Peter Gabriel, Eno, Bowie, Pearl Jam and Soundgarden. The trademark sound is characterized by improvisation, intense guitars, cosmic synths, drones and experimental aspects of sound incorporating real-time synth programming techniques.
