Rob Johnson
LA composer, songwriter and entertainer Rob Johnson has had his music featured in dozens of TV shows such as How I Met Your Mother, America's Got Talent, American Idol Rewind, Lets Make A Deal, Mad Love, Flipping Out, Parental Control, Gene Simmons Family Jewels, What Chilli Wants, Ace Of Cakes, and many others. Other projects for which he has composed music include trailers for Madea’s Family Reunion and Daddy’s Little Girl (both for Lionsgate); Scoop, starring Hugh Jackman (Focus Features); Waiting, starring Ryan Reynolds (Lionsgate).
It would be hard to find a songwriter and composer with a richer musical background than Rob Johnson. Through his years in the music industry, Rob's experiences have included work in such diverse disciplines as TV and Film scoring, Rock bands, musical theater, Cabaret, and Pop. Rob has performed vocals, bass, guitar, and piano in many original groups and Top 40 bands, and has also done many solo acoustic performances of his unique songs. Originally from Fargo, ND, he moved to Boston to pursue a career in music. Since moving to LA in 2000, Rob has composed scores and written original songs for more than twenty feature films, short films, documentaries, and TV projects, including working with Warner Bros., Disney, Lionsgate, and many others.
