Skip-Dawg rose to prominence in 2009 when his song “Skip To The Floor” broke into rotation on BigFM Germany (syndicated in 24 cities throughout Germany). Skip-Dawg then signed a Worldwide Distribution Deal with Blue Pie Records for the album "We Will Rise." In 2011, Skip began working with multi-platinum producer Larry "Pop" Summerville (Warner Bros) whose credits include Flo Rida, Christina Aguilera, and Alexandra Burke. Described as a cross between rapper TI and Justin Timberlake, Skip-Dawg also starred as the rapper in a national commercial for Windstream Communications.
