Third Option is a Techno/Classical, Poetry fusion headed up by producer Aaron J. Trumm. Always collaborative, Third Option reinvented Trance with their catchy sample-laden Frosted Mini Wheats. They were referred to by BBC Radio I’s Annie Nightingale as “wicked, totally compelling," and they did a 30-minute mix. Collaborators have included poets and musicians like Tamara Nicholl-Smith, Daveoramma of Society Burning, and poet Andre de Korvin. Third Options' releases include Cult Of Nice, Still, The Monkey Set, and The Four Hard Edges Of War.
Quirky little tune with vibes, eery high synth, bass, drums, and the occassional appearance of a narrator talking about an analogy to life around Frosted Mini Wheats - basically, that all dichotomies are false, and there's always a third option - hence the name of the act - "Third Option" Spoken Word, Electronic, Experimental
A buzzing little jam good for action scenes, we think! A tight little groove with buzz synths, bass and organs that has a trancey quality as it repeats itself and develops. Instrumental, Electronic, Progressive Electronic
Re-invented trance track with buzz synths, drums, bass and original spoken vocals that sound sampled and repeat. Vocal Samples, Electronic, Experimental
Beats and vocal beat box like samples, with ominous low voice electronica backing and eery buzz synth melody with pitch twists. Instrumental, Electronic, Experimental
Trancy, ethereal track with organ, bass, drums, ethtic tom rhythm and a very reverby, telephoned, string line that quotes Mozart in places, Instrumental, Electronic, Experimental
One of Third Option's re-invention of trance, this track includes a strange bass, electronic drums, buzz synths, and piano. It grows over time, adding elements. The piano plays a lead melody in minor key and the tracks other parts are dramatic, as if something is about to happen. Instrumental, Electronic, Experimental
