Currently based in Delaware, Composer Mike McAnally approaches music from an inner perspective based on the pure dynamics of reflecting emotions on the human condition. His unique concepts cover Jazz, Fusion, Swing, Classical, and Blues genres. Mike has worked as a Sideman, Leader, Studio Producer, and Music Educator, and his current focus is on composing. His music has been featured in the documentary "Evesham Twp. NJ, An Historical Portrait," the PBS show "Sit and Be Fit," and projects for Dementia Whisperers -- a medical company based in California.
Mike McAnally's credits include: 1979- "The Village" (guitar composition) Live performances by the Philadelphia Jazz Ensemble. 1987- "The Candle of Life" Synth piece for University of the Arts-Film & Animation Dept., Philadelphia, PA. 1993- Coppellia Music, Paris France. 1994- US Cattleman's Assoc. Museum Little Rock, Arkansas (extensive guitar work for Producer Tony Luisi). 1995- Tobeat Records Philadelphia, PA. 1997- "Evesham NJ an Historical Portrait" Documentary. 2000- Classic guitar tracks for Muzak, Seattle, WA. 2007- "Song for Coltrane" PBS show "Sit and be Fit." 2008- "Terry's Song" Theme for Dementia Whisperers, which is also archived with FilmQuest Entertainment, Hollywood, CA.
