Lonnie Williams

Lonnie Williams began singing the blues at home, entertaining her mom and dad’s friends. Soon her dad had her singing at house parties, while he played drums and she played keyboards and sang. Next, Lonnie began playing keyboards with different local bands, but her love for gospel music was never forgotten. As she grew closer to God, she began backing away from the blues scene. In the late 70s, she moved to New York City where she got back into singing in various nightclubs. Today, Lonnie's strong, soothing vocals offer uplifting messages through her memorable gospel music.
